This is what will happen. Our offense will look pretty damn good for the rest of the season. We will be excited going through the offseason and make excuses for the current OC. Like, he didnt have a big time WR or deep threat to really utilize the playbook. Then when next season starts, we will be disappointed when they run the same plays over and over like this year.

This is a legitimate concern. I really do hope the offense has turned the corner and that Miles is more willing to open it up. However, we all know that he favors a conservative Big X-style offense, so I'm expecting to see that again next season, no matter how good Mett gets.

Whoever devised sat gameplan, I'm good with.

Pretty much. Leave out the bungled wildcat on 4th and 1 and the bizarre ST fiasco on 4th and long with the fake field goal. That same effort defeats anyone in the country not named 'Bama. Just have to eliminate the questionable crap when you're playin' the Sabans.

Seriously, what is his purpose on the coaching staff? We don't need a TE coach because we never use them in our offense except to block. He's dead weight. I say cut him loose, demote fat arse back to OL coach, and go after some new blood. Major Applewhite maybe?

3 yards and a cloud of dust. Big 10 Michigan football. As long as Miles is here LSU is where good offensive coordinators and 5 star Qbs come to die !!

but if you are going to correct me, Bama is statistically the best defense in the country

OK, I wasn't aware you were using statistics as the measuring stick. If that is the final determinative, then yeas they are better than LSU's D. But my eye test says differently.

Wow you sound like Bob Stoops in 2003.

By the way Bob Stoops, like you, was referring to statistical comparison. So, in fact, you are the one sounding like Bob Stoops.

Chip Kelly. Cause OC at LSU would be more prestigious than doing ANYTHING in the LOLPAC1

I agree, but "if" is a big word to only be spelled with 2 letters. You think that the O will play that well the rest of the season??

Yes. Mett is finally getting his feet under him and our offensive line (that has had more injuries than I've ever seen) is finally gelling together and stabilizing. Barring all those injuries early on, I surmise we would have hit this stride on offense long ago.
