I went to the mucho-hyped "Game of the Century" last year in Tuscaloosa, and the crowd noise and game atmosphere didn't come close to last Saturday night in Baton Rouge.

I agree. BDS is far better atmosphere wise when we have a mediocre to below average team or we're an underdog. 2003 Oklahoma, 2005 Florida, 2010 Auburn, etc. were all very loud BDS games where everything wasn't on the line. BDS were so uptight last Nov 5th that people were holding their breathe more than letting loose. I wish BDS would cut loose like Tiger Stadium does. We're only good for about 1 great atmosphere a year unfortunately. I admire how consistently well LSU fans bring it for big night games.

And that's why so many of us get infuriated when they move big games to afternoon for TV. The TS atmosphere is not in the same universe during the day. Yeah yeah yeah, we all know about the CBS/ESPN contracts with the SEC and why the games are moved. Doesn't mean we have to like it or blindly accept it like obedient little drones.
