So for you to believe STM chokes every year that would mean that STM has the better team and finds a way to lose to an inferior opponent

STM was better than Acadiana in 2010?
How far would you like to go back?

Was STM better than Northside in 2004? Was STM better than Bastrop in 2005? Was STM better than Shaw in 2006?
Was STM better than WM in 2008?

I would agree that there are some glaring examples of STM losing in the playoffs to teams they should have beaten. Trovon Reed and Thibodaux in 2009 and Mandeville in 2007 immediately come to mind. However every program with a history of success has their own examples of failures.

No one ever says STM over achieves, but a lot of people say STM chokes. How many signees has STM fooball had in the last ten years? How many of them went to BCS schools?

So STM claws their way back into the game last year against Karr and takes the lead with little time left. Then a STM substitute CB that is probably now playing intramural flag football somewhere gets beat on a bomb by a KARR WR that is now playing in the Pac12 for Arizona. Is that a choke?

Acadiana beat STM 31-0 in the playoffs. Did STM choke then too?

Sometimes they are just better than you, sometimes they have an NFL caliber player (keiland williams, early doucet, etc) that beats you, and sometimes you just play like shite and get yourself beat.

STM chokes every year is a fallacy, some years they have choked and some years they just got beat by a better team or player
