The fk? A FG would have greatly increased our chances of winning. It would have made Bama have to score a TD in 90 seconds with 0 timeouts. Obviously the D blew it anyway, but running the ball was the right call on that set of downs anyway. There was 2 & 1/2 minutes left. We were in FG range and we made Bama use their last 2 timeouts.

and if we missed it we give them amazing field position and they only need to go like 30 yards for the tying FG
the advantage was to make them go farther
alleman is not a good FG kicker. planning to rely on him was foolish
