no

and there are more options than just say "throw it on 3rd and 8," because we could have done something creative and aggressive like...run it...in a creative way. not a toss up the gut bullshite play that we had run 100 times before

I understand Miles playing for the clock at the end, but in that situation it was too conservative and did not follow the information the game had already provided. Mett was playing superbly, give him a chance to make a play. Additionally, Bama had proven it was more than capable of scoring quickly at the end of the half. Miles missed a chance to analyze the reality of the game and make an informed decision. He chose instead to play "percentages" that while relevant to a point, did not follow the flow of the game. It was too conservative and didn't take everything into account.
