Rivers also had 3 steals, 3 Rebounds, 2 assists and a block. He did a few things tonight beyond scoring. He played some reasonably good D tonight from what I saw. He D'd up on Rip a good bit and did well.
I was never a big proponent of drafting him, but he's trying hard and trying to do other things until he develops an offensive game.

ya, that is very good to see. the guy is willing to work and get better. I think he can get himself to where he needs to be.
...but the Hornets drafted him to score.

This. He is improving but he is a project at this point. Monty's player development track record has me optimistic on his future
