Grizzlies vs. Knicks
Where, when: FedExForum, 8:30 p.m.
TV, radio: ESPN; WMFS 92.9 FM/680 AM
Records: Grizzlies 6-1; Knicks 6-0
Lineups
Grizzlies: Mike Conley, 6-1, Tony Allen, 6-4, Rudy Gay, 6-8, Zach Randolph, 6-9, Marc Gasol, 7-1.
Knicks: Jason Kidd, 6-4, Raymond Felton, 6-1, Carmelo Anthony, 6-8, Ronnie Brewer, 6-7, Tyson Chandler, 7-1.
The skinny
Memphis is shooting for its seventh straight win since losing the season opener on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Griz also want to extend their franchise-record regular season home winning streak to 14 games. Memphis has been propelled by an improved offense. The Griz are 5-0 this season when reaching 100 points. Entering Thursday's game at San Antonio, the Knicks' success could be attributed to their solid play on both ends of the court. They are among the league leaders with 103.4 points per game and sit atop the NBA with an average of 87.8 points allowed. Who to watch? Gay, who averaged 24.5 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists on 50-percent shooting in the last two games against Miami and Oklahoma City.
