I agree and think this needs to be discussed during the offseason.
Maybe just take one week away from the regular season is all that's necessary?

I wiuld prefer the seasom being two weeks shorter. Gives us time to get basketball out of the way and focus on baseball.

1 week wwould be ideal. People really didn't start to get rested until this final week
