I'm going to be un-creative and go with judith.

Yea it's the mainstream one and all that shite, but it's my favorite so the haters can frick off.

Counting Bodies Like Sheep. That shite used to get me so pumped before my high school football games.

I also like their cover of Imagine.

I got to see them do When The Levee Breaks during their sound check in Dallas last year. Seeing it done live, in such a small setting with so few people in the room was pretty damn amazing. I had totally written off eMotive until hearing most of it live.

If I remember correctly, it was the only song during sound check that Maynard sang fully. The other she sang a minute or so of and then the band played the rest or worked on parts they had messed up the previous night.

But to answer your question, yes...pretty freakin' awesome. Not sure if I'd pay the extra money again, but they sold "VIP" passes in limited numbers for that tour. You got in for sound check, signed poster, limited edition merch and early admission to the floor. Wife and I got to see the concert front and center on the floor.

Magdalena, Rose, Blue and The Hollow should be in the op instead of some that are listed..

Rose
Magdalena
Orestes
The Hollow
Weak and Powerless
Pet
The Outsider
The Package
3 Libras

Also, wasn't really a fan of Blue until some chick recommended the remix from the Underworld soundtrack.. Y'all check it out

I got to see tool in concert once. Very cool show, although I could have done without the excessive amount of dope smoke

I think I like APC better than Tool now. It's aged better for me. I really can't stand Maynard's personality outside of his music. Sadly, I think he's kinda washed up now and just wants to use music to fund his winemaking.

I sadly agree with all of this

What makes you think this? 10,000 days had some solid stuff on it IMO. I'll have to hear Tool's next cd (if there will ever be one) before I start thinking he's washed up. Puscifer was strange and disapointing though.

I didn't really dig 10,000 days. Their previous 3 albums were much different from each other, which was why they were so great. They were somewhat groundbreaking. 10K Days just felt like a half-assed effort to give fans more of what Tool knows they like. I'll admit that I enjoyed the album for a while. But wow, after a few months of listens, I completely flip-flopped on my opinion of the album. Just was really boring to me.

Just my humble opinion though.

I hear ya. Jambi and Rosetta Stoned are amazing songs musically imo. Justin's bass lines in both songs are killer.

I liked the songs on the album, just wish there would have been more. 5, maybe 6 good songs is not enough to become a classic, regardless of whether or not they are all over 7 minutes.
