... Alabama is clearly ranked #1 -- but to an honest observer, they have not been challenged to this point.

MSU is pretty good team... they will not be a pushover for Alabama or anyone on their schedule.

They are in a position to play for the SEC West crown - but need to win games they have tradionally not won (@ Alabama and @ LSU).

So -- what if MSU rains on Bama's parade and Bama comes in to Death Valley with a loss --- MSU becomes the SECW front runner and LSU still controls it's own destiny.

No matter how you "slice" it - each game is "must win" to keep championship hopes alive.

Would like nothing more than to be playing MSU for all the SEC West marbles in Tiger Stadium on 11/10.

MSU is always a physical team. Win or lose, they'll give Bama some bumps and bruises going into our game.

MSU is damn good. I think they will prove to be by far Bama's biggest test thus far. Looking forward to watching that one.

I don't think MSU will beat Bama on the scoreboard, but I have no doubt they will physically beat up Bama, which will give LSU a little more of an edge on Nov. 3.

Also, I won't be surprised to see aTm beat MSU when they play.

Worst nightmare for those fair weather fans trying to sell their tix for 3-4 digits.

I think State will play them very physically but Bama eventually pulls away bc of their depth

State is the only team thus far that can stack the box and man their recievers. Should be fun to watch

State is still State, just bcs a few grinders on the secr are delusional doesn't make it so. They will be 3 TD dogs and won't cover.

Would love to see them give Bama a game but not gonna happen.

Would not want to face Bama after a loss. Best thing for LSU is for Bama to beat MSU in an extremely violent slugfest

Well, there is that possibility that Bama will take State a bit lightly.
Not looking ahead to LSU but just not giving MSU enough credit. Mullen REALLY wants this game.

I don't believe it will be close. Bama all the way and by a big amount. MSU hasn't played anyone either. I hope that MSU gets physical with Bama and softens them for us though. Maybe that will help.

I really hope MSU doesn't beat bama, that'll make our game with Bama that much tougher. Now 25 OTs, i'm for that
