This is what I have been believing all alone. He comes back during the bye week.

All these people make millions off this kid. NCAA, SI, ESPN, LSU, and so on. But this kid has to pay the price, suffer the bullshite penalties they wanna inflict on him. There is just something very wrong with that picture!

All i can say is that its always been a possibility but i just never thought a likely one....and i know from previous threads that 5alive has strong strong ties to the st aug community

Damn
I just thought it was set in stone that he was off the team for at least a year and that was school policy. Seems like they are making a huge exception here, which I don't particularly like, but wow.
Also, paging VC

Did he make a ban bet?

Lsu has yet to say publicly why he was originally "dismissed" so keep that in mind when it comes to said 1 year suspension. Not saying he hasnt failed 3 tests but there is wiggle room internally
Eta i believe vc is banned

Even if they haven't made it public the athletic department knows what happened. And ultimately its their decision. So while I do thing he'll be on the team next year, I'm still skeptical that he could be back for Bama.
LSU is going to look very bad for this if it does happen

So, the conventional wisdom is that SI somehow got ahold of the information that TM7 was going to return to the team in time for the Bama game and thus, they decided to put him on the cover of their magazine? Wow! I guess that is a brilliant marketing ploy. It would have been a real coup for them to get lots of inside dirt on TM7 to go along with the headlines...that was why they sent Thayer and Evens and Crew to come up with what they could at any cost and by any means. TM7's saga just keeps getting more and more interesting.

Im torn on that
I want Mathieu back on the team but it could be a hugggeee distraction and look bad for us to take him back so quickly. Especially if the SCAR win really gelled this team which it might have done
Selffish side of me wants him to play but the rational side says it might not be the best thing

I'm torn on this as well - I don't think the Bama game needs anymore hype. It's going to be huge no matter what.
Our defense and secondary has played very well thus far, and really have stepped up - along with the oline for regard. I really do miss seeing TM out there, but if he does come back - I don't think he should start.

Red I asked my source who is a very very very close friend of Tyrann. For him to call me and discuss that and the SI situation during football season, i knew it had to be big.

If the honey badger comes back, the stadium is going to be so loud my eardrums are already bleeding.
