I've tried a few things that came out well. Mostly look at the desserts on that website, some crazy delish stuff, but very fattening unfortunately.

Mine too. I have no problem eating a damn roast exactly like I have for the last 30 something years. Why we have to go to 2 specialty stores to buy 12 ingredients NEVER found in an average kitchen just to make a borderline edible meal blows my mind. I'm good with salt, pepper, butter, flour, and vinegar. I can pretty much cook anything with that. If she wants something different I'll just add more pepper than usual.
