Just got back to Cali from our annual trip to TS with my kids and buddies. Had 3 first timers with us. The crowd, the atmosphere (both inside and outside the stadium) and the game itself could not have been a better way to introduce (Or in this case indoctronate) new LSU fans.
We had 12 of us split between sections 413 and 417...The 3 newbies all said they were not ready for how loud LSU fans were for the duration of the game and that they were very impressed by how knowledgable and how genuine LSU fans are...One of my buddies is a 6-7, 295 former power forward who played at Howard in the early 90's. About 30 minutes before game-time he was "adopted" by two edlerly couples who spent time prior to the game explaining the traditions of LSU football to him and the rest of the game high-fiving him..He has sworn he is now a LSU convert and has asked to be given a permanent spot on the trip..
As great as the game itself was, no doubt it was the fans that made the night so special... LSU FANS
