Sorry I had to Bump this thread.
Welcome to the club. You now own one of the most beautiful dogs on the planet.
Here is our GSP and hands down this has been the best dog I have every owned. He is 6 months old and we just got our shock collar. We plan to use it very sparingly and were really torn on getting it, but these dogs are too smart for their own good.
Day 1 - He is already sticking his tongue out at me.

I have two that look almost identical to yours. I have a male and female (same ltter). The female mostly stays with me and does some hunting. She blood trails deer (I bow hunt alot). The male goes to the office everyday with my dad. He is the most chill dog ever. He sleeps all day and greets clients at the door (hes in the professional services). They are awesome with kids.
The only draw back is they need to run every now and then. Additionally, they do get jittery during seperation. Train them young to spend some time every day alone. I think this goes a long way as mine our now 4.

he's in his awkward looking stage. makes me laugh and remember when my male was like that. the female pup that i have now is about to be there. i dont think she will get as disproportional my male did though.
