You'll be lucky to get into snook off the bank. Get a kayak and go into Shore Acres and paddle the canals. Also the mangroves right off the Franklin on st Pete side is productive. I was slamming them from the yak when I was in 33703.
Also a boat club would be a good option I was in one when I lived there and it was legit.

We use to live on Snell Isle...living near Gulfport. 2 minutes from the bridge to treasure island on central.
Know of any good spots over here? I use to hit up Fort Desoto with some friends years ago, but don't know if I'll have the time to be that involved.
