I have never thought of it like that but your completely right.
Major League, ROTY, and Little Big League are my personal favorite baseball movies. Mainly bc of how much I enjoyed them as a kid.

One of my favorite scenes is when he realizes that he is throwing a perfect game and doesn't think he can finish. The catcher " we're the best team in baseball right now..." gets me every time.
