I might be mistaken on this, but I don't think Warner produced Reaper. Networks are less kind to shows their studio doesn't produce, because they don't stand to make anything off the afterlife of the series (streaming, DVD sales, etc).

Even if Arrow's ratings dip, it will get more chances, because all of Warner Bros stands to gain the longer the show is on the air. Vertical integration. Jack Donaghy would be proud.

they didn't, it was an ABC produced show, and it was while SyFy was undergoing it's rebranding.. and the 2 main characters even said they wouldn't come back for a season 3 anyways..

all in all, Reaper was kinda a cluster frick that was destined to fail after season 2.. if nothing else, Reaper might have taught WB to work more in their own departments after Reaper than they had in the past.

If only NBC hadn't changed it's strategies so many times over the last 15 years.. could you imagine?!
