Discipline?

Drive?

Focus?

Business-like mentality?

Consistent execution?

A sense of what their coaches are trying to do?

Praise and ongoing respect for those coaches when they leave?

Any of this sound right?

Discipline. Everything else is secondary.

That's what Saban first brought to LSU and Bama, discipline. That's what Miles has failed to instill in the team and it shows.

They win all their games by huge numbers and all the fans love them.

Being able to line up in a formation and get a snap off after a timeout would be nice. Fewer personal fowls than third down conversions would be a bonus, too.

Consistent execution imo.

With that comes discipline and focus.

A well coached team shows it's prepared to play and everyone knows what to do and act like a team.

Honestly, it's all of the above but it has to start with execution of the game plan or any play that is called. It's up to coaches to decide which play and which game plan to use.

Vomit as I type this ... but, take a look at Bama.

Shows no signs of a team that is soft from winning the MNC.

Frickin' sickening.

My point is that every point that certain guys use to defend this coaching staff. . .are actually direct condemnations of it!

It's not the coaches, it's execution!

Well. . .execution doesn't "just happen/not happen" on gameday. You play like you practice.

Thanks to John Chavis. You think 18-2 would be the case if Les "helped" Chavis with the D? Scary thought isn't it.

That's the only metric you use to determine how well coached a player is?

I hate when idiots wright off our lack of execution and discipline with, "we're winning". It's the direction the program is headed and it's not the right direction. It's been a progression over a couple of years and it's only going to get worse.

Then, with that record, why aren't all of our players drafted every year?

This^

the dawgs are the same as LSU...no freaking discipline...at bama they fear saban...he is the boss...and they know it...there are no individuals on sabans teams..

a small thing that is an example is players with dreads...may not be something everybody notices, but at bama saban requires them to be tied up and covered...its small but speaks volumes on how he coaches...
