Winning your conference has nothing to do with playing for the BCS title. Their job is to find the two best teams in college football. Last year there was no question LSU deserved to play in that game. Their job was to find the second best team. The fact that Bama didn't win their division was completely irrelevant. They had the misfortune of playing in the same division as the #1 team. Who cares if another team won their confrence, that doesn't mean they were better than Bama....it just meant they were playing ina s hittier conference. I cannot comprehend anyone STILL crying about Bama getting the nod as the $2 team before the game.

That wasn't previously the way it worked.
Michigan-OSU set a precedence and it has always had a deserving factor in it. Oklahoma St. easily had the better resume.
The idea of picking Bama was purely the subjective "eye ball test" and anyone who actually supports that is a fool.
Now am I arguing that Bama is the NC? No because they won the system. Was the system wrongfully manipulated? Hell Yes.
