Schalke coach huub Stevens was dismissed today. I think huntelaar makes a move this window. He really liked Huub. He's also not played that well in the BuLi this season. Not sure what's going on with him.

Schalke won their champions league group and let their coach go?
Posted on 12/16/12 at 4:00 pm to Jumbeauxlaya
They haven't won in 6 matches and are now sitting in 7th almost 25 points out of first place. Schalke is the 2nd biggest club in Germany and they've gotten absolutely raped the last few games. I wouldn't have fired him, but I was pretty certain he was getting the boot.

Some winter transfer rumors:
Pato's time is most likely up at AC Milan. Rumor is he'll move to Corinthians (possibly in swap deal for Paulinho which I assume they're pushing even harder for due to De Jong's season ending injury.)
Robinho may be moved out soon too though I would guess summer's more likely unless Milan have another striker to buy in the works like Nene from PSG?

Saw that. What the hell happened to Pato? So much talent. Still young. I'd take a flyer on him at Arsenal...
Any other Serie A rumblings? Cavani going anywhere?

He can't stay healthy to save his life.
ETA: Pato, that is.
ETA2: And I'd probably stay injured if I had this physio:

I'd love him at Liverpool... he's had a series of muscular injuries at AC Milan... some attribute to them bulking him up in the gym combined with him still growing...
He's only 23 and his game/goal ratio is great and he has all the tools...

Funny how AC Milan can keep 40 year olds in playing condition but not 20 year olds.

Also, quite a bit of noise that David Villa may join Swansea on loan for the rest of the season...
If BR isnt all over that, if he's available, I just dont know what to say...

Fellaini to Chelsea
It would be AWESOME for Chelsea, but pretty much kill Everton's hopes at the Top 4 so I'm not so sure I want it to happen if I were a neutral.

Napoli's trouble with the betting scandal may be the wildcard but otherwise I think he likes it at Napoli. Like I posted in my Serie A rant, much has been made of them selling Lavezzi but I think the key to that move was less a purely financial concern and more that Lorenzo Insigne is actually better (not to mention they were going to also lose the promising Vargas kid if they didn't get him more minutes too).
As for other Serie A winter transfers, there's not really much more than pure conjecture right now.
Mainly clubs in the top 7 looking to add a player or two. Roma will add a CB. Burdisso (unfortunately as I love that guy) didn't really fit with Zeman's tactics and is likely heading out.
Biggest news, I suppose, is that Chiellini may be out for up to 3 months so it will be interesting to see how that changes Juve's winter market. Udinese will probably help them out as usual by sending Danilo half price with a Buon Natale card.
They'll still likely add a striker and I'd guess they are actually exploring what have been the main rumors (Huntelaar, Drogba, Villa, Llorente). I wouldn't be shocked if they go young though and it's a player like Ciro Immobile since only Drogba of those choices seemingly could both move now and play CL.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham, talking to David Villa.

He's good friends with Pepe, correct?
Maybe he can talk him into a stay in NW England...

If be thrilled with Villa for half a season. Literally over-the-moon.

along with Juve, SkySports Italia is reporting. He'd probably be a pretty good fit for them playing centrally with Vucinic as second striker but that he can't play CL seems to have Juve fans less than enthused with the idea.

Is his contract out this summer?
I'd like to see him go to Liverpool of the teams mentioned. Would like to see you guys get back into the CL.

Yes sir, that would call for the picture of the South Park guy splooging all over the room...
