1. Not a guy

2. Don't know him or his family

3. Have seen people with addictions try to overcome them

4. Not looking for sympathy on his behalf... Just saying that and are kneejerk reactions of people who have no clue.

5. I respect that you have strong feelings about the subject and that shows a lot more maturity than many in this thread.

I'll assume since I did not or , that your post did not apply to me.

Regardless, it's a freaking dog and pony show. He fricked up. The Patterson and him are trying to figure out how to deal with this while minimizing his impact to TCU football and the QB's future. They'll put him in rehab to stay PC (highly unlikely that he's a raging alcoholic at 21...especially as a star athlete). They'll say he's recovered and he's all better. He comes back with minimal impact to everyone and including himself.

It's stupid. He fricked up and should be off the team. Most people get fired from their jobs for DWIs and drug posessions. Why is he any different?
