LSUZombie's LOCK of the week: Saints vs Chargers edition

Hello all! Another week, another edition of the Zombie's lock of the week. I'm sitting at 2-1 for the year (really thought we'd beat KC and I didn't predict the Washington game) but feel this week will be a very tough game to predict.
I flipped back and forth. My head says to go with the Chargers. They are 3-1, though their wins have been against terrible teams, and they have a D that can create turnovers. Their offense is good enough, especially if Rivers has all day to throw. Meachem will want some revenge, and also prove he's the teams top receiver (he has no catches in two games!).
But the Saints have more than a few things in their favor. They are home, and the crowd will be nuts. Brees and Sproles will show San Diego what they gave up on. And of course Brees will go for the record with Payton, Loomis, and Vitt cheering him on. There are too many x-factors to ignore. So, I'm ignoring my head and going with my heart.
Saints 35
Chargers 28

Loomis is going for fact... I know this

Loomis and Vitt have declined the invitation and will not attend the game, a league source told Schefter. There decision has "nothing to do with feelings for Brees and everything to do with feelings for the NFL," the source said.

if that's the case... you should either be banned for life, or considered a demi-god for predicting that shite

After last game, although a loss, I feel like they took a big step forward. I saw a lot of effort against a top tier team at their place when they were also in desperation. I've said multiple times on here that they have the talent to beat any team. I think they are close to getting it together, it'll really come down to if it's just too late now being that this is such a steep climb. Getting this first win just might be able to flip everything. I just have a feeling the Saints are coming out to play-ay in this game.

If anyone is willing to make a wager that Loomis will not be there I will indeed take them on

I meant, it make zero sense for Vitt and Loomis to miss the game because they're mad at the NFL.

maybe they're just kissing arse?

If they are mad,..seems like they should make an appearance.
