Yes I do. What great effort by that LSU football team. That guy behind center, Tyler, isn't he the guy so many say doesn't know much about the game of football?

I still remember going to that game expecting the Tigers to lose. I was 12 and didn't really follow football much outside of going to games, but I knew that UF ALWAYS beat LSU.
I could have sworn that the two teams traded players. I remember thinking in the 4th that UF would somehow come back, but I was wrong.
It was amazing to get to see the goal posts torn down. The crowd carried a post and kept thrusting it in the direction of the UF band as they continued to play. It was unsettling yet gratifying all at once.
This game really thrust me into being the Tiger fan that I am today.

I remember standing there at the end of the game crying like a baby along with the guy that sits behind me. We had been lost in the wilderness so loooooonnnnnngggg.

One of the best games played in TS.

This game was the pinnacle of the 90's era. It helped set up the run of success we are now seeing.

Still the greatest LSU game I've ever attended. I remember being completely EXHAUSTED at the end of it. Oh, and I was sitting in the student section right near the Golden Band. I wish I had taken my camera. But I DID save a newspaper from the next day that I still have right here with me. 1997 seems like just yesterday.................

I was there.
Great night.
I believed.
Still have grass I pulled from the field.

Nice start!
After watching that highlight it's amazing how loaded LSU's team was in 1997... Faneca, Booger, Banks, Booty, Collins, Faulk, Tyler.
Definitely one of the better Tiger teams talent wise.

Banks as a true freshman destroyed them.

Let me explain:
1) Didn't have the same type of access to info on the Internet
2) Wasn't reading the paper much
3) Grew up in Biloxi, Ms before the arrival of LSU bandwagoners.
4) Only one TV in the house, and we didn't get to watch much. Thus lack of ESPN.
While I went to nearly every home game I just follow the Tigers much outside of what my dad would talk about.

I have to agree....this was the beginning of LSU football as we know it today and this game alone kicked my love for this team into high gear. I was sophomore in HS at the time
