Reviews are awful, and one has to ask, is this series dead?

I would say, it's only dead if nobody buys it this time, and they actually think nobody bought it because it wasn't "edgy" enough.. and try to go even more edgy.. and end up completely alienating every single last person all together.

Oh, and that being said - they are going more towards the CoD and Battlefield crowd.. RE6 will sell more than RE5 did. It's not dead

doubtful. Too big of a name. Now they very well may reboot it or something and go back to its roots. I think that'd be a big hit.

I knew they shite the bed with this series the minute they started harping constantly about accessibility.

you'll never get CoD sales figures with a true survival horror game.

so let's shoehorn in a ton of action and unnecessary multiplayer.

I'm concerned about Dead Space 3. Co-op really kills any sort of suspense.
