There have been no factual remarks in this thread.
Someone suggested that Miles was hiding our playbook (something that has been suggested for the past 4 or so years and has never come to fruition).
This is the offense. Hopefully we can learn to execute it better.
Live it, learn it, love it because it's what we're going to be running all year.

All that may be good, but that still does not explain our players coming out flat and looking downright unprepared for the game. Which lands on coaches' shoulders. I would not even go so far as to say he has the highest football iq out there. It showed on 1/9 and the SEC CG. Either that, or on 1/9 he really didn't care. He may be smart in football, but that does not make him the best coach. See Bobby Valentine, he may not be a football coach but he's a living breathing example of a smart guy in the sport but not a great coach.

So you know all the plays in said playbook?
The same can be said for the offense. The offense won't improve for the rest of the season?

Sounds like you have it all figured out.

It's something called pattern recognition.
You'd think over the past 5 or so years people would stop making your same assertion

Lets just hope the option with Mett isn't rolled out as a part of this new and expanded playbook you speak of

There has been considerable exodus and arrival of coaches and players throughout miles' term. I wouldn't care to bet on any particular pattern recognition because the variables are too great. It would merely be apophenia with misinterpretation of statistics and history.

You said a minute ago:
Yet you proceeded to post speculative or opinionated statements, but insinuated they were indeed "factual." This is the offense, these are the plays that will be called.
I'm not getting into a pissing match over this with you, you have your opinion, you know mine, we agree to disagree.

Though I wouldn't hold your breath on trickeration or a bunch of complicated plays
1) that's not the style of football for the type of personnel we have
2) I don't think we need much different than what we've been running.
We need to run first, have more accurate throws to hit open receivers, have receivers stop dropping passes, make routine field goals, and have the oline play to their potential.
That's how LSU can and will wim

Just googled that.
Had no idea what it meant

No hard feelings, man.
We just have different opinions.
That is a great word though! Remember it! People will wonder wtf you're talking about when you use it.
We cheer for the same team.

I knew that it could sound pompous or bombastic but it seemed like the right word especially when you are talking pattern recognition

Well if the polls were to stay where they are it would be a showdown between Miles and Nick Saban's pick for LSU coach when he left Jimbo Fisher LSU's old offensive coordinator. Will be interesting the talk on here if it does.
Wrong, Saban was vouching for a coach that got fired from his last two jobs and is currently unemployed, if Im not mistaken.

Wow, I honestly hadn't realized that, great point
Houston Nutt was the guy Saban recommended, not Jimbo

Showing his hand? What the frick. You don't think teams like bama are going to prepare for everything? Who gives a shite what we haven't showed. What we have showed is absolutely garbage. Miles football iq is very very very small. Thank god for the defense.

I read it all, but wow you're good.

While I can see where you are coming from with the Towson game but what about Auburn? He didn't want to show anything there either when LSU was down in the 3rd quarter and only up by 2 in the 4th? He had that much confidence in his defense that McCalebb wouldn't break a run and get Auburn in field goal range to win the game? I Highly doubt it...
Believe what you want but this is who LSU is.. Miles will continue to play it safe until he can trust Mett not to turn the ball over.
