Only an idiot would think secret plays would work on 1-9-12.
Nothing else worked. What are you going to do, run 55 or 60 secret plays?

There are no secret playcalls for when you can't hold LOS.
Lee wouldn't have saved LSU.
Mett wouldn't have saved LSU.
Even Breesus wouldn't have saved LSU according to Mr May.

I didnt read ALL of the post, but I see two sides to the "getting the ball to Sheppard more" idea.

1) We have. Sheppard truly has had ample opportunities to excel, perform at the level all have been expecting.

2) The flip side of that is: Maybe a better coach could have schemed plays that created space for Sheppard to work in.

But that would take some imagination that just doesnt seem to make it into the Tiger Off. I personally thought Krag was that guy, able to manipulate Def. by schemes and formations in order to take adavantage ...

Miles' locker room speech to one of his teams I hear on the radio everyday. It goes something like, "you are responsible for the outcome of this game. Offense, defense, and special teams. Play dominate football from the start, to the finish. To the finish!"

The last couple games I guess he didn't give the speech or they were not listening.
Let's hope they listen this week.

So what you are saying is that 1/9 was a no win situation...Like a ship going down...the Titanic if you will and Les was the Captain so there was absolutely no reason to try to win. Fact is that people were bitching about the JJ love fest and how it was going to bite LSU in the arse and it did on the biggest stage of all.

we weren't going to win on 1/9 no matter which LSU qb played. none of the qbs were good enough. yes, we (lm) should have tried SOMETHING else but it wouldn't have affected the outcome of the game. for all you lm haters, you now see why mett didn't play last year. lm knows what he is doing even if he is as stubborn as shite sometimes.

The LSU offense should be able to let the towson OC call their plays and still win 40-0.

Secret plays and Les Miles' 130+ IQ aside, what happened Sat night was inexcusable on every level.

Meh. I couldn't get amped for Towson. I imagine it was very hard for the team: Crappy opponent, crappy weather/field conditions, crappy crowd, etc..

This team will be ready this weekend and roll and unsuspecting Florida team. Sure, they dominated UK, but BOWLING frickING GREEN entered the 4th quarter tied with UF 14-14 in W1.

Is this a rhetorical question or are you making an indirect statement about miles. In which case do you have any links/audio clippings/video/statements from players/coaches/ex players/ex coaches to support this random propaganda that is rampant in the rant?
