I saw yesterday that St. Amant in Ascension Parish has been making some news with their recent success. They beat a good central (BR) team last night and they play Dutchtown at Dutchtown this week, what do yall think about all this?

Didn't they get off to a good start last year and then have Dutchtown come to the Swamp and blow the doors off them?

Dutchtown doesn't have Collins this year but they still play good defense and their offense is more balanced. They don't have to rely on Collins bailing them out with a 70 yard run every other drive.

EA and St Amant are better but Dutchtown is still the team to beat in Ascension.

If I were St Amant, I'd focus on beating EA and taking the first wildcard after Dutchtown and maybe Catholic.

So does St Amant even have a chance on Friday?

St. Amant will probably lose to Dutchtown this week, but I think they have a chance to finally beat Catholic this year.

Swacker needs to come back and lead them... His first 3 seasons they had what 4 losses?
