I agree consistency above all else. I do not remember evan's tackle vividly, do you have a link? If I could see it again, I could say whether I agree or not on a red for evans.....

It's the same play Shelvey got his card for, Evans went in two-footed studs up and doesnt even get the ball...

It's easy to saay that but referees are all human and all different personalities with different interpretations of the rules. Not to mention how fast the action happens and how it's easy to miss things. I'm sure they try to be consistent but it's virtually impossible and when they aren't or when they do miss a call it totally changes the game.
