What is your set up clothes wise for those early season bow hunts?

Pair of lightweight camo pants, under armour long sleeve, and a doorag.

Is scent lok the best scent eliminator brand? What about some of the cheaper alternatives?

Scent Lok and Scent blocker are both rip offs as far as scent elimination goes. The Scent Lok I have is worth the price based on quality. My Safari pants and shirt are 5 years old and look brand new (and I hunt a lot)
If you want something for scent reduction go with a silver technology. Carbon based suits get saturated with scent molecules and despite what the advertisements say, your dryer will not get hot enough to "recharge" them. Silver naturally kills bacteria and will stay effective for the life of the garment.

This. Carbon only lasts so long, and I don't like the aspect of having to reactivate my clothes. I bought a pair of leggings from HS with silver for $14.99 from Cabela's.

THIS. And thank God the hunting community is finally starting to realize the true technology (silver nanoparticles) over the BS they have been pimping for the past decade (carbon reactivation). If you know someone who works in a nanoparticle lab, get them to give you a spray bottle of silver nanoparticles. Then you can spray it on any of your clothes once a season and be good.
Carbon needs heat in the 1200 degree F range to "reactivate." Your clothes would desintigrate at that temperature.

And to answer the OP - Columbia mesh pants, some off brand heat gear base layer, and a 1/4 zip mesh pull-over from Columbia. I am going to try corking my face this year in lieu of a face mask, even the mesh face masks get hot in early season.
