I was right about who #1 is, but had forgotten about Phil Collins. And how is Neil Peart only #26, having written most of Rush's songs and collecting the sweet publishing royalty moolah. And of course, because he rewls.

only surpirses to me are that Mick Fleetwood was "only" worth 8.5M and that Steven Adler is worth so much.

Fishman at 60 mil....nice
It hard to spend 60 million on beer, LSD, coke, and pizza. He's making a solid run at it though.

I thought the same thing.

Really. What has Mick done with all of the money he's earned over the years? $8.5 million seems rather paltry given Fleetwood Mac's body of work over the past 40-plus years.

Coke, lavish lifestyle, bad investments? More coke? That was just guessing. Wish I could guess about the stock market as accurately:

I;m most surprised that Steven Adler made the list...I would have assumed he shite all his money away...
He has his shite together now, but was royally fricked up for quite some time

That and he only did the one album and didn't do the later tours when they where playing stadiums. Axl, Izzy, Slash have most of the writing credits.

The spot and amount of cheese really shocks me here. But, I guess they just haven't had the success that The Beatles have had...even the success of Nevermind, clearly.

He writes the lyrics, not the "songs."

They should only include money made from Nirvana and Them Crooked Vultures (along with some of his studio drumming, ie Tenacious D and QOTSA). He's almost certainly made the majority of his money from FF and he doesn't carry sticks there.

5. Lars Ulrich – $175 Million (Metallica)
Such a shame that he ranks so high. I like Metallica, but Lars is just not very good and a total frickwad to boot.
