UF Offense V LSU Defense

UF has looked impressive to start the season, and any LSU fan with a brain knew before the season that playing at the swamp wouldn't be easy. They are road tested, to some degree, and have put up a lot of points against DECENT teams.
Our Defense is far superior to any D UF has faced this year...I don't expect them to score over 17 and that's only if they get a big play/special teams points some how.
Zach and the Wrs need to be more consistent, sorry to beat a dead horse, but just had to say it. Otherwise we have a litter of dominant running backs who will batter their defense all game and wear them out.
Zach 'The Catfish' Mettenberger just needs to stay calm and know when to get ride of the ball...he got skerred the last game, hopefully he will man up this game.
27-10 LSU

He wasn't scared in the AU game.
He was stoned with 6 xanax and 6 miller lites in him.
Nobody gets scared in that condition.

True. He was scared before the game, smoked 3 joints and snorted 4 xanax to get his head right.
The catfish will prevail!

That's a scary question.

Mett had less than stellar protection from his blind side. So much so that we had to roll the pocket-which we rarely, if ever-do for protection concerns (we did it 1/9 and that's for obvious reasons).
Mett also had WR's who either couldn't catch it or flat out couldn't get open.
But now we're saying he got scared?
No protection, WR's who can't get open and/or can't catch when they do get open? Gimme a break. The kid did extremely well in his first road start with a sputtering offense, a temporary red-zone change of Centers, and a LT that's pass protection is reminiscent of the French Defense of Paris in WWII.

That is the dumbest nickname I have ever heard. Go back to your shanty....

I'm not saying that he's scared. The way he has stayed in the pocket and follow thru with his throws while getting plowed is a statement of his mental toughness. jj or jl would be running to hide under CLM dress.

He kind of looked that way from the shot on the sideline of him.

Mett has been fine. The reason he has not shined is the rest of the OF has been almost non exist except for the RB's. If the WR or OF line don't step up we may be in big trouble in the rest of the season after next week. Our DF is great but the OF sure has a big disappointment this year!
I thought loosing JJ would be a great improvement.

Always believed in the golden rule of treating people the way I want to be treated. Had I come up the "catfish" name-I'd want the Rant to send me to Penn State.
