I'd be down with this. Great idea.
I think it can be tweaked to be more accommodating to other people's wants. Maybe run waivers twice a week (Sunday and Wed). Or maybe just expand rosters.
I think we are all in agreement for the most part that we want to eliminate/reduce streaming, and we don't want injured players to kill us.

There is no way non playoff teams should be locked out from picking players up. If you want to somehow limit it to keep someone from just picking up every notable player and dropping them then fine. But I seem to recall Paul Pierce being dropped some years ago during the playoffs so that someone could stream. Someone explain to me why a non playoff team should not be able to exercise their waiver priority in this situation.

I like to add/drop, but not for streaming purposes.
Id hate to see this league go to that waiver system or reduce add/drops.
Streaming is just part of the game and hasn't really been effective anyway. With 6 add/drops, you are essentially adding 1 person to your roster per night, and that player is usually shitty. It's not that big of a deal. Only the crappy teams tend to stream anyway and they aren't going to beat a good team because of it. People are exaggerating the effect it has.
You can either draft a bunch of good guys, or leave a spot open to stream a shitty player.
