Just saw their story on NFL Network. They started off the year with a 9-2 record. Guess what happened after that? 5 straight losses to end the year completely missing the playoffs altogether.

It's only week 3 people. We are about remember what it's like to be victorious Sunday and will at the very least go 1-1 in out next two games. Going into the bye we should be at the worst 2-3. And honestly, I love the bye early this year. Gives us time to collect and come out of the break on fire.

It's not how you start, it's how you finish.

I agree, but this defense just has me pretty damn worried.

Getting our corners back should help. I think we'll see the D improve as the season goes on. The D actually improved in the 2nd half last week.

2007 Giants started 0-2 giving up 80 pts. How did they do again? Who was their defensive coordinator again? We should get that guy.

Only way the Saints turn this around is if the defense makes a drastic 360 degree turnaround and quick. Considering our defensive woes over the years, I doubt it happens. So far this defense has looked worse than the 07 defense. Which says a lot.

I'd prefer that they do a 180.

Looking at the first two games I thought the 360 was GW to Spags

I've mentioned before but last year's Giants are the perfect story for understanding the NFL today. Remember walloping them 49-24? They lost the next week to GB and were at 6-6. Some were starting to call for Coughlin's head. Two weeks later they lost to Wash. 10-23 and were 7-7. They allowed 142pts in that 4 game stretch. Then, turnaround- less than 14pts a game, winning 6 in a row on the way to the Lombardi.

Not to mention, in 2007, which everyone seems to be pointing to, Osi and Justin tuck accomplished about the same as our current d-line had before that year. Strahan was a commodity, but that's about it.

I say throw Wilson and Galette out there to spell Smith and see what happens. Also see what Hicks has to offer. Might as well because what were doing ain't working

Someone on our d-line needs the Tuck face mask. Then we would be on to something

At least under Williams' defense the defense would come out after the half and have an answer for the other team. They'd shut them down.

I thought our defense played a little better in the 2nd half last week. And if it wouldn't have been for that 66 yard blunder to douchebag then it would have been even better.
