This guy is too good to just be returning kicks. IMO he should be the "number one" in a stable of extremely talented backs. He's got the speed and the strength to either run between the tackles or turn the corner and get to the outside. And yeah I know Hilliard had the 70 yard run tonight but I don't se that happening that often with him. Ford is probably our quickest back who can burn secondary players. I just never understood why he never played more.

But hell, I'll take 250 yards rushing from a stable anyday.

Great game tigers!

Why give MF touches when we can burn Jeremy Hill's redshirt?

yet hes number 3

in now way should he be 1. if you were arguing kenny id say thats legit but not ford.

Ford is awesome and would be the stud at 99% of the other colleges in the country but hes not number 1 here nor should he be.

and he is by far the worst pass blocker of the RBs

It would take 12 quarters for Les to get all his RB carries in

Just remember RB's are a dime a dozen, Ford as great as he was in high school is just the next in line at RB. There's a reason their draft stock is dropping.

Fwiw, I agree with you. Miles plays who practices the hardest, which is fair, but I think ford is still our strongest back with great vision. Prolly the fastest too.

Because he's not as good as you think he is.

When fans get smart, then Michael Ford will get, "the Touches He Deseres"

Whatever "Deseres" means.

honestly., Ford is our 5th best back. That is saying a lot, because he has talent. But he is a stiff, straight line runner that has to have an open crease to be effective.

Hill is a better RB than he is. So is hilliard, Blue and Ware. Not trying to slight him, but that is the truth

SEC football isn't a video game. You see speed and think that's all that matters.

Apparently not. I think he deserves a shot but it doesn't look like it is going to happen. Blue get hurt we win by a gazillion and Ford doesn't see the field. If it didn't happen last game I don't expect him to ever get any significant playing time now.

face it, WE DON'T KNOW HOW MILES AND COMPANY determines playing time. i would imagine the factors are running ability, blocking ability, recieving ability, attitude and keeping a clean nose. there could be a dozen different reasons that one running back is favored over another and we the fans would never know them.
