This new place is SE of Alexandria, and SW of Catahoula Lake. Across the river from the South Delta you may hear a lot about. I guess Marksville or Alexandria would be the closest towns...

Yeah, it's a slough we leased with 2 blinds on it.
The farmer pumps into the slough then uses a riser to fill about 300 acres of old ponds with natural growth.
We picked this spot over a blind in the ponds because it came with 2 blinds for the same cost. Also, after studying google earth our slough points back to the river so every thing that comes and goes appears to use our slough to travel... so far it's working out. We're pleased...
