A long, athletic DE. Better than his rankings indicate. You'll see some rawness but you should be able to recognize the talent.

45-12 Winnfield over St. Mary's. Is that what you expected? What did you think?

St. Mary's is young, so this isn't a surprise. They have a good QB and RB but the O-line is pitiful so they couldn't do much. The QB and RB are both sophomores and best friends so their chemistry is great. Considering they played the 2A runner up from last year, no I didn't expect much more. Way overmatched in the size department but in a couple of years SMH will be pretty decent.
P.S. Patterson is quick off the ball, was causing havoc all night. He looked good but considering the opponent I didn't expect anything less.

Thanks for getting back. One thing I look for with prospects is for them to be dominate when they should be as sounds like the case on both accounts in this one. Some kids don't dominate the kids they should and that always causes some skepticism from me on how they'll step up in college. Not a fool proof method by any means but just something I look for.

I watched him last week vs marksville and I didn't see anything impressive!! Yea they rolled over marksville and marksvilles offense wasn't the best but but from what I saw he was getting handled all night

St. Mary's
Played against former St. Mary's quarterbacking & linebacking great, David Wright, three and 1/2 decades ago.
Seriously, he was the best QB I ever played against and the best hs quarterback I'd seen at the time.
Had some big time offers but played at NSU. I believe he is in their hall of fame. Also remember him being as nice a guy as you'll ever meet.

Oh yeah I know David Wright. Nice guy and he is looooooaded now. haha He still lives in Natchitoches and yes he is in the NSU hall of fame. He gave St. Mary's their only state championship in football.

You sound mad son, 5 tackles, 1 sack ,two for loss, and a forced fumble that a teammate returned for a TD in about 2 qtrs of play sounds like a horrible, horrible night!

And, everyone runs away from him.
