What's not effectively when LSU is 26-3 since 2010 when a lot here are claiming our QBs during that run have been some of the most talented challenged in LSU HISTORY?

You are really ate up with this topic, huh.

Bored at work?

but to stimulate, if possible, some thought about the coach

Why do this if you arent trying to be negative? He has led the team to a 15-1 record over the past season +. Won an SEC title, went to the NCG, and won a national title here in 2007.

Do you seriously have a problem with the coach? Or do you know absolutely nothing about football and just want to bitch about something and the only thing you could think of was not playing Mettenberger last year?

dude, we blew them out. les (and no coach should) will ever run the score up. he averaged 18 or so yard per completion.

WE ARE NOT GOING TO THROW MORE THAN 20 TIMES IF WE CONTINUE TO BLOW PEOPLE OUT SO GET OVER IT

It's not that they're negative, it's that they are completely void of logic, sense, and evidence.

Obviously, this is the goal. And given the talent on this team, the standard by which success or failure will be judged.

But we're on track right now. We decimated UW. Let the season play out. If Miles loses a game, then criticize and dissect, then identify the cause of the failure. Until such time, enjoy the victories.

Please see my previous thread about LM doing more to develop ZM at QB last year. That is the point. Why did CLM shelve ZM? Anybody? Anybody?

Ok, so you start a thread about a potentially decent topic to get people to show up.

Then, you change the topic to the real intention...1/9.
Real nice.

You need to get over it.
You really do.
There is NOTHING else that can be said about the topic that hasn't been said 60 times already on this board.

miles is doing fine with mett. sure, i'd have liked to see even more passing. But, it's obvious that Mett is not totally confortable yet.

My observation is that he made great strides from week one to two. first big test is Auburn. I think by mid-season mett will be coming into form, will be very comfortable and if we need to throw les will let him throw.

I also like the way rivers looks so far. He needs to get some throws during gametime. I'm sure the only reason he hasn't is that miles has to get mett seasoned first. look for rivers to get a couple throws in this week.

Ask Krag about that last year. We need to be passing the ball a lot early in the year, even if we are up by a lot.

Got to get in work there before we face someone who can slow the run.

Duh.

I win a national championship every year on PS3 and throw for 500 yards per game and win the heisman every year, no matter what. That is what this fanbase deserves. Hell I even did that with ULL.

i think you are missing the point, sure our qb play was super shitty but with a good qb and the same amount of pass attempts makes a big difference.

You sure we can do that to any team we face in the future including Bama? Don't make me laugh.

So, we only get practice...at games?
Not...in practice?

Actually, he doesn't.

That said, I believe the LSU coach is doing what he thinks is best to put the football team in position to win games. The more he does that, the more games he's likely to win. The more games he's likely to win, the more likely it is that he leads the team to a NCG victory.

But again, he doesn't really need to.

Think of it like Football 1001. You have Dr. Miles as the Professor, class (practice), homework (weight/fitness training), a quiz every week (weekly games), a mid-term (Bama), a final (SECCG) and if you do really well, you get a chance at the board exam (BCSCG).
