Didn't the coaching staff already try this a year or two ago. I think there is a reason they don't do it anymore.

Man, I have tried to hold out hope for Sheppard.. but the kid has been given all the opportunity in the world to make something happen, it just doesnt seem to happen!! There are way too many other guys that deserve a shot.. I hope he might show us something, but I dont expect anything other than what we have seen.

Shep at tail back?
Should we play shep at tail back so he can get some sweeps and short passes out the backfield?

Haven't we tried this with Shep already? I think we just need to give up on Shep ever being a star.

Yes we have. He has something like 7 yds per carry from the tailback position. I have felt all along he should be used in a Reggie Bush type role.

He needs to really just be focusing on catching the damn ball for now.

Agreed. However, by rule, the "drop" in the endzone should have been ruled a touchdown catch. Week before it was a phantom inelligible receiver call that called back a TD catch. Guy's luck should change for the better at some point.

WHY is the thread necessary. Been there done that. I hope Shep can be a playmaker this year for us but we have plenty of players that have proven they can get the job done when he clearly isn't consistent enough
