I am taking my Nephew to his first LSU Game on Saturday. He is 5 going on 45 lol. He loves LSU. His parents raised him correctly, a TIGER Wish you could have seen his eyes when he was told that he would be going to the game on Saturday. This will be fun. I hope Mike decides to go into his cage tomorrow to parade around. He wants to get there early to see Mike. I can't wait.

Have a great time!
You might consider a set of earplugs or other ear protection for him. You can keep them in your pocket and bring them out if he shows sounds of it being too loud -- because it can be really hard on some young ears.

my favorite part of gameday is watching the band rehearse at the CM practice facility....Pregame sounds amazing when you are 10 feet away

Teach him to stay until the end of the game.

He already knows the 1st down cheer and the 4th down cheer. But he wants to do the wave. I hate the wave and I never do it when it happens in TS , but if he wants to do it I will join him.

My son's first game was when he was five and it was the Rohan Davey Arkansas beat down in TS. My son fell asleep in the second half. Nap time is nap time.

My 2nd son's first game he was 4. He went with my hubby and oldest son (9 yo at the time) as I was home with an infant dtr.
The story I heard was that after the band marched off the field after pregame, he stook up and announced that he was "ready to go home now". lol
LOTS of money was spent on candy and popcorn to keep him happy.
NOW? You can't keep him away ... except this year for the Bama game for his first homecoming dance in high school. woe is this momma.
