So, meeting my buddy at 1145am. There's a wait. No big deal. Really looking forward to the gator wrap and some waffle fries.

My buddy and I sit. And talk. And wait. And talk.

Several groups of two or more come in, are informed of the wait and leave. Few stay. It is in observing this we overhear that one of the servers called in sick and there's an entire section not open.

At one point, a party of at least 12 and at least 8 wait for a few minutes and then give up.

At no time did I observe the manager at the front trying to manage any of this. Just the hostess and server girls hustling.

I understand that staff gets sick. But I haven't seen a manager be that derelict in duty of watching and working the front of the house. Several hundred dollars in lunches gave up and opted for another place. (when we were seated, there were no observable emergencies in the seating area or kitchen that would require unbroken attention of the manager.

Oh, and they were out of gator. I went with the shrimp wrap. The shrimp wrap is tasty but terribly overpriced for the serving size. Yeah, great, I got some waffle fries. But damn, that was a tiny shrimp wrap.

Not impressed with anything but the hotness of the girls working. I was excited to go today and it was just suck from start to finish. I'll stick with Pastime, Chimes or others in the LSU area.

I ate the New Orleans location a few weeks ago before a Saints game and was pleasantly surprised. The menu has changed since I have been there and the staff was easy on the eyes. I would certainly go back to the NOLA location.

Walk Ons is nothing more than bar food. Simple. To me it's an awesome place just to go chill at the bar, get an appetizer or maybe some chicken tenders (can't really mess that up), and relax.

And of course...

Burbank location is going to get their arse handed to them if they catch wind. You can say a lot of things about WO, but it's a pretty damn well run organization.

If you didn't order the waffle cheese fries, I'm not interested in what you have to say.

It took that long to get food out of their freezer and put it in a deep fryer and/or microwave?
