Where in BR can I get a 50-60 lb dressed hog (head on)?

If you get one from Chris they are frozen.
Only place to get a fresh pig, slaughtered to order is Rouchers in Plaquemines. 1-225-687-4258. Last one I bought was $2.39 a pound but that was last winter. They can get any size you want. I normally get right around fifty lbs because as you see in Balls thread you don't have to stay up all night to cook and a fifty pound pig give you plenty of meat. I picked up a 130 lb one my father in law did last winter as well. He kept his arse up all night and I took it over in the morning. He's back to fifty pounders.
