bunch of folks all up in this thread with low expectations.
Entergy has been reaping the rewards of having a monopoly. New Orleans customers imparticular have been getting raped.
BY any standard this response is pitiful. I would love to see Entergy have to be competitive.

Aided by rubber stamps in the hands of our PSC. I was appalled by the huge fleet of bucket trucks and other repair vehicles idling much of the past few days in Swaggert's parking lot. Why they aren't deployed at 11 AM on a sunny day is a mystery to me.
And don't even get me started about how they will use this storm to rape their customers again. And I'm not sure about other folks, but I'm pretty sick of paying a fuel surcharge implemented when gas was $13.50 when it's now <$1.00.
