Best way to get from BR to NOLA airport right now?

Mom has to go pick up my brother and was wondering what route to take with road closures. Internet is still down and my phone won't load any websites so any help is appreciated

I think the only way is I-12 to I-55 then south.

I dont know if it is the best route, but I-12 to Causeway, then take I-10 a couple of exits to the airport.

Traffic is god awful around Mandeville on 12 all afternoon. Causeway is equally as bad.
