I'm guessing since ULM is out for the next few days, all the bars will be having hurricane parties?? Sixth Street Bar had an awesome hurricane party for Gustav.

Monroe isn't as bad as people make it out to be. It is definitely not a progressive city. North Monroe has beautiful neighborhoods for raising families. The Garden District is cool form someone young, as your close to the only decent bars 6th St bar and Enoch's.
If Century Link leaves Monroe, this place is doomed.

It's blowing here but Isaac is moving slow. I thought I be driving home in it when I saw it cross the MS River around 3 and it still isn't here. Looks like there is going to be a lot of flooding up here too. Not good.

I've never fished there. I usually go up there to ski. A lot of people don't know you can so it's always pretty open to ski, tube, wakeboard, etc..
