Not too many here either. Just limbs from these damn river birch trees but they shed limbs like they do leaves

Reppin' the Garden District. Had some limbs down in the back yard but nothing significant. Power and cable was a go and just a little collection of water in the driveway but that's it. Survived round 1. Round 2 coming in a few hours.

The storm must have gone somewhere else because its been pretty weak thus far. I know thats not the case for the folks in South LA, but not much to report from Swartz. I didnt even see a decent size limb on the ground.

I agree, Chuck, but that is a good thing. I am at work now in town and we have power and light rain.

I'm glad that it didnt get bad. Its just that I filled up all the flashlights with batteries, bought extra beer, and put candles in every room. I only got to use the beer.

Sounds like the North side got it worse than the East side. Sounds like the wind is starting to pick up now.

Don't have too much fun there.

Chuck,
Looks like it is picking up a little more here in town as well.

Never lost power last night. I really am not happy that I'm sitting in my office though.

I'd rather be drinking a beer on the back porch while watching the wind whip through the Garden District.
