If BR gets one, i figure we need one too. Storm reports, wind gustas, flooding, etc

Guess it still looks like we'll be on the dirty side.

Gustav rocked us pretty good here....wooded property, tons of trees downed. Hoping for the best, prepared for the worst.

Good luck all

LP should be safe. Peej told me two days ago that LP had nothing to worry about.

In Albany just south of I-12. Lights flickered about 5 times a few minutes ago. Preparing for the inevitable

Power still on North of Denham. Blinked a few times. It is really starting to pick up, though. Expect to lose it at any time.

Demco is impressing the hell out out of me. lights have flickered a few times but we're good for now. Normally the electricity here goes out when there is a light wind/rain. However, I do have a book handy to read when the inevitable happens.
On a side note: we don't close on our new house until next month and I'm nervous as hell wondering how it's fairing right now. Could care less about where I'm staying right now.

This flood is way worse than Allison in 2001. Just had my neighbor cut threw our yard in his bass boat from the river to get to old river rd. hopefully the water stops coming up bc there is only 7 inches before the water reaches the pump in our well house.
