The episode "The Son" in season 4 is one of the best episodes of television I've ever seen.

New around here, so my opinion will probably hold no weight, but I loved loved loved this show. Also hated what they did in season 2, but I loved Landry and Tyra anyway. And Riggins. And Coach & Mrs. Coach. Yeah, I loved that show.

I think that is putting it a little too harsh. Compared to the other seasons yes, compared to most TV not an abomination.
