Every single head coach in history has had detractors. Nick Saban has them. Yet you think that Les has done enough to be held above all questions? Is he some all time greatest coach now?

Still here, loud and proud. January just confirmed my disdain when i was starting to doubt it a little.

I just think he is bad for the university, and think many others could do the same job without the daily embarrassments

Yes, and I was one of them.

Can't speak for others, but I have. Obviously, the last two seasons are strong evidence in his favor. It would be silly to ignore it.

To answer your question in a more general sense, yes, he probably still has critics. No coach is above being criticized. But I doubt there is a significant portion of the fan base who actually want a coaching change.

This thread is just asking for all the resident mongoloids to come out and show their ignorance. I can MAYBE understand being skeptical after the NC game. Those that think he should be fired/isn't doing a good job are irrational, and do this fanbase and university a disservice. End of story.

He won everyone over last year.

And then he went with Jefferson, didn't game plan for the NC game, and gave up in the 3rd quarter without trying anything different.
The NC game was a travesty that undid a ton of goodwill he had earned.

Was just at the gas station. Two kids were behind me discussing if eachother thinks LSU will win a championship. First kid says never, other kid laughs and says at least not while miles is still here. I just blame the dads. These guys were prob 15-17 years old. If anyone firgets we won a championship last year.

First it was he has to atleast feild a team that competes for the west and a trip to ATL. Now he has to win a bcs championship every year. I expect us to win next year, but then see a drop off because we could lose a lot of guys on d and lose a few rbs.

ButthurtNation still going strong I see. Till 2020 or so may every season have a certain unease, may every game come with a certain distaste. Fitting and deserved for that crew.

Yes! After guiding LSU to its best SEC season ever and overcoming losing our starting qb, 3rd wr, and best defensive playmaker and best rb ( ware was doing well before the susp) there were "fans" calling for Miles to be fired, BEFORE THE BCSCG WAS OVER. Seriously!at the end of the 4th qrtr on Jan.9th, some posters were already calling for him to be fired. It's sad that our once great fan base has turned into what we hated about Bama fans. ENTITLED. I guess some posters don't remember when LSU fans were happy to make the Ind.Bowl. Also it's always harder to maintain a winning program than it is to build it.

They most assuredly want him out still. Maybe not as many because there are so many fair-weather fans but there are still people calling into WWL and saying we should still have Saban!?

I was reading an article about that:
Miles vs Saban
