If miles would have played his star qb....(2011) who sat on the bench the whole year....the mad hatter shite catches up at some point and it did in the last and most important game......he did the same in 2006 instead of playing flynn he played russell we might of had back to back champs .....Mett as good as russell...... russell's not even close!!!!!

You mean JR lost 2 games in 2006 on the road to top 10 teams but Flynn, who dropped a home game to an unranked team and a little above average Kentucky team would have won those?

Your true colors are showing bro. Just make sure they keep their helmets on right?

Watching that video really gives me an appreciation for last year's regular season team.

They A, hardly ever turned the ball over and
B, didn't have one game (save Alabama) within 3 points.

Also, last year's team didn't subtract years from my life like year's past.

Yeah, LSU might have had a #1 pick QB if not for Les and his "shite" in 06.

This stuff just gets too funny sometimes.

Well Atleast I know I can ignore what you say about football now. JR's 06 season IS ONLY THE BEST SEASON EVER AS A LSU QB.

Please never venture over to the SEC rant. We have a decent rep as of now.

Regardless of any other discussions in this thread, or how much potential Mett has, or how great we all hope he will pan out to be... this statement must be one of the most idiotic things I've ever read, even on the rant.

Maybe it's my preference for fact based rationale, but I just have trouble seeing how the OP seriously thinks that a QB who is completely unproven in the SEC is so clearly better than the QB described in the link below. I mean seriously - you think a guy that killed it in high school and JUCO tops this???

JR

quote:

One of the top quarterbacks in school history ... Finished ranked among the top five in every career passing category kept at LSU ... Compiled a 25-4 mark as LSU’s starting quarterback ... The 25 wins ties with Warren Rabb as the third-highest total in LSU history ... Ranked second all-time at LSU in career completion percentage (61.9) and career touchdown passes (52) ... Also ranks third in career completions (493) and career passing yards (6,625) and fourth in career attempts (797) ... Is just the fourth player in school history to go over the 6,000 yard mark in total offense (6,704 yards) ... Capped career ranked No. 3 in school history with 6,704 yards of total offense, just one yard shy of tying Jeff Wickersham for second place in school history ... Only the fourth quarterback in LSU history to pass for over 6,000 yards ... Connected with WR Dwayne Bowe on 23 TD passes which ranks the pair as the most prolific pass-catch scoring combo in school history ... Has engineered eight fourth quarter or overtime victories during his career ... Leaves LSU with single-season records in touchdown passes (tied Matt Mauck with 28), completions (232) and completion percentage (67.8) ... Is the only quarterback to lead the Tigers at least 10 wins in back-to-back seasons ... Russell won 10 games as a starter in 2005 and followed that by starting all 11 victories in 2006

Then again, looking at the OP's profile - he can't even spell his own occupation correctly - based on this and his post history (like the one below) i'm beginning to think maybe he's just literally mentally challenged, and in that case I'm just an a-hole and I apologize for picking on you "Budroar"
