I just saw rises this weekend and avoided all threads about it so I'm sure this has been discussed. Are there plans or rumors of doing Robin movies with JGL?

hopefully not, just leave it be

Probably, but they will suck. There's no avoiding it.

That makes sense. Forgot about the nightwing angle.

I'm confident it's done and they're just going to reboot it in the Justice League.

Considering Nolan is producing man of steel that makes a lot of sense.

as far as i know, there was only one nightwing, and that was dick grayson. i doubt he'd be robin, because, well, what hero in their right mind would use their real name? if anything, JGL will be a continuation of Batman. because he's meant to be a symbol. not a man.

Yes, and Michael Bay is directing.

Speaking of justice league. Is there a wonder woman movie in the works and in you guys opinions what heroes would be involved beside batman, superman, and wonder woman. Will the bother with aquaman and other second level dudes. I could live with the big 3 plus Martian man hunter and a rebooted green lantern.

I can honestly say i want another nolan film. With JGLat the helm. ive seen TDKR 6 six times now. It will be awhile though if it does happen.
I wouldn't mind a movie with michael keaton being bruce and him passing the torch over to a terry mcginnis character.

I remember reading somewhere that they wanted a Batman reboot in production by 2016. Take it with a grain of salt since I read it a few weeks ago and can't remember the site.

I really want to know who can actually top the nolan films? Im not saying its impossible, but looking back, the last three seem to be the best we're gonna get for a long while.

I saw it last night. pardon the hijack, but I was looking for a thread to share my thoughts:
Take out HL's performance in TDK and it is a better movie despite the much debated plot holes. The people that think TDK is better than DKR, the only reason I'll listen to them is HL.
There was so much going on on so many levels. It was so bleak and brutal. It was amazing. Starting the movie with BW broken, him trying to come back just to be manhandled and truly coming back was an awesome roller coaster.
There were few things I wasn't crazy about:
Using a nuke as the plot device to isolate Gotham from what would be outside intervention in a situation like that was a little too easy. Having said that, I did enjoy the Special Forces guys getting in and instantly handled by Bain.
I didn't care for the way Bain was killed (assuming he was). His being killed followed by a cute joke from SK was like a bad 80's action movie.
Other than that.....
The shite.

As for the topic.....
Who would touch Batman who was a serious director after this trilogy for many years?
It would be intimidating to the point that no good director would want to do it.

They need to get Vinny Chase for that
I love the Justice League as a kid, but I really can't get into the concept of a movie where an invincible alien and a vigilante with sophisticated equipment are in the same universe.

this. i think oliver stone or martin scorsese might could come up with something. Even though Zack Snyder is doin superman, he could do a pretty good batman i think. I'll hold that thought til i see superman.
